User Study

I have participated in user studies to analyze qualitative data from quantitative interview records. The qualitative information was then used to create user personas or develop research topics aimed at addressing pain points.

Things I learned the most were which software or tools my user prefers to use on a daily basis. I learned this while shadowing and observing my user as they used the software, and documenting any issues that arose.

 

 

In my view, the ultimate solution must be arrived at through solution-driven design thinking, brainstorming, and benchmarking best practices. Often, listening to users inspires these design solutions, which is why I consider user studies to be extremely valuable.
